Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how Tavi works. For legal detail, see Privacy and Trust Centre.

What is Tavi?

Tavi is a WhatsApp pocket memory. You send notes, voice, photos, links, files, contacts, or locations once, then ask later in plain words — or set a reminder. It answers from what you saved, not the open web.

Do I need to install another app?

No. Message Tavi on WhatsApp like any chat. Optional: open your private web library (“My Memories”) when you want a fuller view.

Does Tavi read my other WhatsApp chats?

No. Tavi only sees what you send to the Tavi chat. It does not access your other conversations.

What languages work?

English, Hinglish, and Gujlish work well. Hindi and Gujarati script are best-effort. Ask the way you naturally speak.

Is Tavi like ChatGPT?

No. Tavi is not a general web assistant. It helps you save and find your own memories, plus reminders and light tasks.

What shouldn’t I send?

Don’t send OTPs, card numbers, government ID scans, or secrets you wouldn’t keep in a normal notes app. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do reminders work?

Ask in natural language (“Remind me tomorrow 10am to call…”). Tavi messages you on WhatsApp when it’s due. Free and Plus plans include different allowances — see Pricing.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Export and delete remain available. Account and privacy controls are described in the Privacy Policy and in-product flows.

How much does it cost?

Start on Free Starter. Upgrade to Tavi Plus when you need higher limits. Current plans are on the Pricing page.

How do I start?

Tap Talk to Tavi, say hi, and send a note, photo, or PDF. Then ask for it later in plain words.

Still unsure? Message Tavi and try with one note.
